Rich Haas provided exceptional customer service. He understood that moves are stressful, particularly international moves. While most of us have experience with domestic moves, international moves are an entirely different game. He walked us through the process and explained details thoroughly. As an added bonus, he checked and double checked the shipping schedule (departure and arrival) to make sure we’d get our shipment on time. He is quick to respond to questions via email. We want to thank you for this great and smooth running relocation. It´s still unbelievable that our goods „traveled on their own“ over the Atlantic ocean, around half of the world from our beloved home in Berlin to the fantastic new house here in California. And this is just our side of view as clients. I know that both of you had much more logistical to dos and issues and its unbelievable for us to think about all details: to make sure that our things are packed into the correct container, onto the correct ship, to the correct port, with the correct schedule, to unpack our things and to finally deliver it to the correct house – wow, thats amazing! Thank you so much for this.

And we also want to say that both teams, the Abels team in Berlin and the team here in Los Angeles were outstanding and did a very, very good, confident and far-seeing job.

Please don’t misunderstand me, but I hope and I don’t want to move again soon, because even when it was a very good experience, it was also a tough and tense period of time for us and I am happy that we can now start our new life and routines to create our new home here in Los Angeles. I am more than happy that we could work with you and your companies and have all your professional and outstanding experiences at our side – if we ever will relocate, we want to do it with you again (… but I don’t want to think about that now :).

I know this thank you has been a long time in coming! I have been travelling and only got back to Finland.

I just want to say how much care and attention was shown to the move to Finland. I was so impressed with the extra care that was given in packaging, that none of our items was broken, even the most delicate artwork. I even noticed the attention to detail, when I had already wrapped some items and they were rewrapped even better than I had done!!!  So thank you, thank you.
I would also like to make an apology, as I know I said your men were taking their time in wrapping and that extra time meant that everything arrived safely. Again thank you and your team for a job well done.

Hi David, Apologies for taking so long to get back to you. All went well with the move although our things took longer to get here than we had hoped. Combination of bad weather and things closing over the Christmas and New Year holiday period didn’t help. We were extremely pleased firstly with the level of service in the estimate stage of our move. The local representative who visited our home was both informative and reassuring. The packers were a pleasant hardworking group who took great care of our things and did a sterling job wrapping and protecting our treasured belongings. Our goods arrived with no problems. This has not been my experience with other removers and we have in the past had furniture chipped and items broken which is heart breaking. Therefore for us this was a big plus in using your company. We think the fact that the container was packed and sealed at the front door made a difference as We know some removers transfer from lorries to container which obviously increases the chance of additional breakages. The container arrived this end and was unpacked by two very competent pleasant lads. We would not hesitate to recommend your company for an overseas move. Thank you from the bottom of our heart for making a daunting move overseas go so smoothly.

Sorry for the long delay in responding to you.

The move back into my home in Portland went very smoothly. I especially appreciated the lead on the team, Seth.

I will mention that there was apparently a leak in the container and some water did get on a couple of my items:
1. There was dampness and discoloration on the leather seat of a dining room chair. It has now disappeared
2. There was warping on the paper backing of a very large framed photograph. The paper has straightened out over time and it is fine.

Seth mentioned the leak to me and had taken pictures of the container before unloading it in case I needed to follow up with you or the insurance company.

I was really happy with this moving company.

I hope all is well there and you had a great Christmas with family and friends.
I apologize for not getting back to you earlier but have been caught up in the preparations for the season.

All went great in the move and we are very happy with the experience on both ends. All of our furniture arrived with only minor damage to one small desk but everything else made it over in perfect condition. We did lose 5 sofa supports for the main sofa which I think might have been hidden in some of the wrapping and was inadvertently thrown away with the packaging but I have sourced similar replacements locally so I should be able to make them fit with no problems.

Overall though we are extremely happy and impressed with the service and smoothness of the move. We certainly would not hesitate to recommend Rainier, yourself and Debra to anyone we hear of moving and would definitely utilize your services again if needed in the future.

Thank you again for following up and for all of your assistance throughout the move.

Your team just left after spending three days with us and I have to tell you, they were absolutely fantastic!

Bruce and Barb were incredible, packing and organizing everything. They made very hard work look easy. Their friendly demeanors and laid back styles were great with such a big move going on.

Brandon, Rick, Eric, Mike and Kevin were also fabulous. They were kind, efficient and very professional. We felt very comfortable with every one of them in our home. Kevin packed the container with unbelievable precision and was able to get everything inside. Again, it was hard work but he made it look easy. Just amazing. Not to mention it’s 17 degrees outside and snowing!

I am very grateful and impressed with these folks. Thank you for getting us hooked up with them and for taking good care of our belongings.
