Doug:

Thanks for your nice note. I was planning to drop you a line as soon as I had gotten (almost) organized.

Suffice to say, I couldn’t be happier with the service provided by you and your international colleagues, from start to finish and all the bits in between. Everything made it to my new house in good condition and with no drama at any stage. You guys rule!

I’m especially appreciative of your personal prompt and authoritative responses to every one of my questions and queries along the way. Superb!

So all that remains is to say thank you very much, and keep up the great work.

Dear Bob…
Well, it’s been a long road, our move. And it’s finally come to an end. Our household goods were delivered this morning to our storage facility in Venice, FL. And Carolyn’s Tacoma was dropped off at our house this afternoon. All is well.
We’d like to thank Eric and everyone else at Bob Lynch Trucking for giving use extra special care and attention. (We know we’re your favorites!) Four moves with you. And you’ve never failed me.
Dave Wiviott and Madison Smith at Rainer Overseas Movers did a great job keeping us as updated as best they could with Hurricane Ian doing its best to screw things up.
And the guys who delivered our goods, Aragon Movers in Fort Lauderdale, were awesome! Eli in the office and JC and the crew, and Yasin who delivered the truck were a pleasure to deal with. All were polite, friendly, professional…did I say awesome? They are the Bob Lynch Trucking of Florida.
Thank you again. And be well.

Subject: Huge thanks – International Move from Washington State to England, UK

All

I am typing this at my desk in my new home in Duns, UK. It’s a long way from Walla Walla and I just wanted to thank each and all of you for making our move possible.

There were so many points where this could have gone wrong and thanks to each of you – it didn’t! I really appreciate your amazing communication and the way you reassured me and delivered at every stage.

Thanks to Skip for your infinite patience during the quote stage and to the Bekins crew who packed with care just before Thanksgiving 2021

To Don who held my hand through numerous insurance questions and “missing” ships in Mexico! You really are a star. You communicate even quicker than me and always made me feel better.

And Zenobia who got us through customs and calmly found a UK mover who would deliver 250 miles North of where I thought I would be (technically into a completely different country.) And who checked in during that last piece of the move to make sure the subcontractor behaved properly!

A couple of items did get damaged in transit and we will be filing a claim but it does not take away from your fabulous individual (and corporate) contributions.

Thank you so, so much!

Kate

Hello, everyone at Rainier Overseas Movers, Ernie’s Van and Movers, Gosselin Moving, and the local movers at Lucesole.

You finally got me here! Finishing the house took longer than I thought it would, you know, those unforeseen life curve balls, but I’m now reunited with my belongings – because of you.

All of you were focused, professional, and compassionate (moving is a big deal and freaking stressful.) Doug and Roberta worked hard to get my things here before the tax set in when I had cut the time short. Nadia was able to schedule her movers in a tight window. And they did a great job. I wish I could be there, but Julie said they were good, hard-working guys.

Roberta helped get things situated and sent to storage once the shipment arrived. And Chara and Benedetta were patient and helpful regarding the monthly billing for storage.

Barbara and Andrea hung in there with me while juggling construction delays and the completion of the house. And the Lucesole men who delivered my stuff were great. They were fast and efficient. They tried hard to keep things organized for me, assembled what they could, and one of the guys occasionally swept. They were all friendly and fun, too.

I hope I haven’t forgotten anyone. You all have great teams. It was a joy working with you. I know I can be a little difficult, I don’t mean to be, and you all worked well with me. And you were friendly and made it personal. It is a tricky balance, at times, to run a business while keeping that human connection because you have to pay the bills. But it’s that personal connection is dearly needed in today’s world.

Whenever the opportunity arises, I recommend Gosselin and Rainier to people moving internationally and for local storage facilities.

Excellent job!!
Thank you all.
Kathy

Hello Dave!

The move went really well actually. I have unwrapped everything at this point and all is in the same condition I left it in! So all is well! I will know more about the computer’s inside parts over the next few days (Case is perfectly safe which was my main concern honestly, the glass is all in-tact. I just haven’t been able to turn it on yet!) but everything else was wrapped wonderfully and nothing was broken! I really appreciate the time and care you and the others had put into making sure everything went well. Honestly, I really cannot thank you enough for your hard work answering all mine and my husband’s questions and going through that long period of storage with me.

The movers from the Netherlands came in a large truck and somehow got down our tiny street with zero problems. They showed up a bit late in the day but honestly not even an issue. Unloaded super quickly, very friendly, in and out and I was able to start unpacking a little bit that night they showed up. It was really quite nice actually.

Again, wonderful job by you and by everyone else that handled my things. I really do truly appreciate all the time you spent making sure my stuff got here safe and sound. It really made living here a lot easier now that I have my things again. If anyone I know decides to move overseas I will definitely recommend you guys for sure.

Thank you for everything and I hope all stays well with you,

Erin

Subject: Happy new year

Hi David,

Just wanted to let you know that we were very satisfied with the whole moving process.
Everyone we interacted with in MovingStar in California and Boxman in Norway were also very professional and helpful (especially Gil and Nils).

Since pretty much everything arrived in perfect condition (there were two broken plates in all I think) we can’t comment on the insurance claim process 😉
All board games arrived without any dents or scratches.

We already recommended MovingStar to our friends in the US for a domestic move and they were also very happy and we will definitely recommended Rainier to others moving across the pond.

Thank you and good luck with the continuing shipping headaches.

Cheers,
Gisle and Claudia

Great Job Don .I have all my goods in my house .You may think it took a long time .
I don’t look at it like that .
Firstly I am amazed that the items made it ,through all the World Shipping problems ,and harbours full of container ships ,and nothing but News of chaos and confusion .
Secondly the big box landed
in a really tight lockdown period in Auckland ,and these folks take it very seriously .
Thirdly it landed when the entire nation goes on vacation ,and Auckland is basically deserted .
I was not stressed about the time frame at all,AND all the people on this end are friendly ,kind ,patient …and efficient .
Thanks Again Don .
